Over the years I’ve re-homed many older rescue dogs and the Oldies Club website is a firm favourite of mine. They specialise in dogs who, for a variety of reasons, unfortunately find themselves seeking forever homes in their latter years. They work with animal rescues to publicise the plight of their oldies and their website lists oldies from hundreds of rescues around the UK. Of my own years of homing rescued dogs, five of my dogs, my husband and I rescued, were over the age of 8 and all fantastic, loyal and very loving – enjoyed some light exercise and always lapped-up the home comforts!
